How cookies and similar technologies work
Cookies, local storage, pixels, tags and server-side events help the website remember choices, operate securely, understand usage, attribute enquiries and measure advertising. This policy was last updated on 4 October 2026.
What you see depends on where you are
United States and Australia: analytics and advertising cookies are on by default and a small cookie icon lets you turn them off at any time. Singapore and the United Arab Emirates: the same, plus a one-time notice on your first visit. European Union, United Kingdom, Switzerland and all other countries: optional cookies stay off until you choose Accept in the cookie bar, and Reject is just as easy. Pages with a region in the address, such as /us/ or /eu/, follow that region’s rules, and the stricter rule wins when your location and the page differ. Your location is estimated from your device time zone. The Brand Audit, reports and booking work with every optional cookie off.
Necessary storage
Always on because the site cannot work without it: td_consent_v2 (local storage, your cookie choice, 180 days), td_consent_pending (local storage, until your choice is saved to our records), td_privacy_notice_seen (local storage, remembers that you closed the notice) and security and sign-in storage set by Firebase for staff and client accounts.
Analytics cookies
Google Analytics 4: _ga (2 years) and _ga_<ID> (2 years) distinguish visits and sessions. Microsoft Clarity: _clck (1 year) and _clsk (1 day) group page views into sessions for heatmaps and session insights. Our own analytics storage: td_attribution_v2 (local storage) remembers which campaign brought you to the site, and td_session (session storage) groups one visit.
Advertising cookies
Meta Pixel: _fbp (90 days) and _fbc (90 days, set when you arrive from a Meta ad). Google Ads: _gcl_au (90 days) and other _gcl_ cookies for conversion measurement. LinkedIn Insight Tag: li_fat_id (30 days) and LinkedIn’s own cookies on linkedin.com. Server-side events may supplement browser events and use event IDs to avoid double counting. Turning Advertising off stops these tags and, in the US, opts you out of the sale or sharing of your information for targeted advertising.
Personalisation and preferences
td_visitor_profile (local storage) remembers which services you have shown interest in so we can show relevant content. Preferences storage remembers display settings. Both follow your Personalisation and Preferences choices.
Booking with Calendly
When you book a call, Calendly’s scheduling page sets its own necessary cookies on calendly.com to run the booking. Calendly’s cookie and privacy policies apply to those.
Changing your choice
Select the cookie icon at the bottom of any page, use Cookie Settings in the footer, or visit Your Privacy Choices. Turning something off deletes our matching cookies and refreshes the page to stop active trackers. Global Privacy Control signals are honoured automatically and keep advertising off. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Retention
We remember your accept or reject choice for 180 days, then apply the default for your region again. If browser storage is unavailable, choices apply only to the current page. Provider cookie lifetimes are listed above and may change when providers update their tools. Consent records are kept so we can show which choice applied.
Provider information
The providers are Google (Tag Manager, Analytics, Ads, Firebase), Meta, LinkedIn, Microsoft (Clarity) and Calendly. Their own privacy notices explain their processing, retention, international transfers and account-level controls.
